Permanent Electrician job role based in Cambridgeshire. Salary of up to £35,000

Your new company

Your new company is one of the largest real estate companies in the UK.They build, let, improve and maintain properties. They are based and operate across the whole of the east of England. Currently they are undergoing a period of growth and are looking to expand their ranks to new talent, to join them in this growth. Currently they are looking for an electrician to join their team.


Your new role

Your new role will have you involved within the domestic sector working on social housing carrying out reactive works and planned preventative maintenance. You will be the face that the customers will see, so it is essential that you are personable as well as being adaptable to changes in this dynamic environment. This role will involve you being on call, so it is essential that you are comfortable with providing an on call service.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have relevant experience as an electrician to be successful, or having the transferable skills to be able to transition into the domestic social housing sector. It is essential that you have your 18th Edition Wiring regulations to be considered for this role, alongside your NVQ Level 3, and City and Guilds Part 1 and 2. Whilst not essential, having 2391 is desirable. Being adaptable and personable is key, you will be the face of the company so it is essential that you are friendly and professional at all times.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive salary up to £35,000 with the relevant experience and qualifications. There is overtime available at time and half, as well as being compensated for being on call. Everything is provided for you; van, fuel card, phone, tablet, tools with no expense to yourself for any consumables. 25 days of holiday provided alongside bank holidays, and 5 days of emergency leave.
