Your new role
Hays are currently working with a top UK property investment firm to assist them in recruiting a senior facilities manager for one of their most prestigious sites in Glasgow. Our client currently has 2 million sqft worth of office space throughout the UK and has a huge presence in the Scotland market. They are looking to appoint a senior facilities manager who will be the main point of contact for the site.
You will be responsible for the management and monitoring of all Hard and Soft services and contractors employed on site to ensure effective service delivery. You will also be responsible for the delivery of on site landlords services. It will be your job to ensure that all Health and Safety and environmental issues are managed in line with departmental procedures to achieve and maintain full statutory compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous Facilities Management experience is essential
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
- Well presented and exceptional communication skills
- Ideally coming from a consultancy or client side background
What you'll get in return
This role is a 37.5 hour week and you will be entitled to 23 days holiday + public. You will also have the option to carry up to five holidays over into the new year if not used. The company also have a very impressive pension scheme, can cover you for health insurance subject to a medical and a pass to the onsite gym will be paid for.
