Due to continued growth they are looking to appoint a Principal Mechanical engineer to the team in Lancashire.


Your new role
To provide technical knowledge, leadership, guidance and support to the delivery of projects, ensuring that all actions, activities and outputs underpin the integrity, expertise and competency of the company. Manager a small team of about 3/4 engineers and some support with bids.


What you'll need to succeed


  • Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline.
  • Ideally 10+ years' senior technical experience in a highly-regulated industry.
  • Demonstrable delivery across multiple concurrent engineering projects.
  • Ideally Experience of:
    • Wet waste retrievals and transfers.
    • Solid waste retrievals and processing.
    • Encapsulation plants (flood grouting and in-drum mixing) and grout pumping.
    • Polymer encapsulation plants.
    • Decontamination techniques.
    • Size reduction techniques (plant and equipment).
    • Size reduction techniques (concrete and shielding).
  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Committed to and understanding of company vision, mission and values.


You may of also come from a different background such as renewable energy or oil and gas which the client is interested in.
