Commercial Property Manager

Macdonald & Company are working with a FTSE 250 Property Investment company, based in Central London, who are looking for a Commercial Property Manager to join the team. The business predominantly invests in Office Assets across the UK and Europe and have continued to acquire into their portfolio, despite the challenges Covid-19 has brought. The role reports into the Head of Property Management and will provide plenty of opportunities to grow with the business and lead on important strategic management for each asset, as well as develop a functional facility and sustainability management plan.

Role: 

- Prepare and maintain service charge budgets and associated tenant reporting and enquiries
- Check all tenant lease details entered on the Property Management Computer Software (Qube)
- Chair all tenant meetings on a quarterly basis
- Asset inspections and ensuring any repairs have been carried out to a high standard
- Assist with Refurbishments across the portfolio
- Oversee the implementation of PPM plans for each asset ensuring that their requirements are balanced with the strategic plan

About You:

- Ideally MRICS qualified (although not essential), with at least 2 years PQE or a minimum of 4 years commercial property management experience
- Good working knowledge of the RICS code of service charge practice
- Have an interest and experience in sustainability and energy efficiency and its application in commercial property
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and good grammatical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships with clients
