Estates Officer - Devon NHS

Mechanically biased Estates Officer required to join and NHS Trust based in South Devon for 12 Months

Your new company
You will join an NHS Trust based in the Southern Devon region. Your new employer are responsible for the management and maintenance of a wide range of NHS buildings, including community centres and other clinics located across the wider Devon region.

Your new role
You will take a lead in the delivery of minor works projects across the trusts estate which could range from smaller building refurbishments through to larger alternations, extensions or cyclical building servicing requirements. You will input across Construction Design Management and Managing Safely requirements, as well as some other mechanical requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this post you will ideally have an IOSH qualification alongside excellent CDM knowledge and experience, however you may also have a background in mechanical building services within a facilities or estates setting.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an hourly rate of pay equivalent to an NHS Band 6. You will be offered a contract with initial duration of 12 months, and beyond this it is likely you will receive a contract extension alongside an opportunity to progress into a permanent position. Despite joining on an interim basis, you will receive annual leave entitlement, statutory sick pay and other benefits.
