ASAP Start - Ongoing Contract - Up to £15 per hour - 8am till 6pm Monday to Friday

Your new company
Hays are working with an infrastructure services & engineering company who currently require a Planner with NRSWA experience.

Your new role
The main purpose of this role will be to ensure work is issued, allocated, reported on and completed efficiently, within WorkManager, in accordance with NRSWA 1991 and contract delivery timescales and processes.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • To program, allocate and coordinate work orders, through liaison with Site Supervisors.
  • To ensure that teams are issued with job-packs, documentation for which defines the work required and includes safe dig prints where required.
  • To ensure that local authority and statutory provisions for the administration of Streetworks are complied with.
  • To maintain accurate records of planned, in-progress and completed work
  • To support and service the client and ensure all agreed client and internal KPI's are met or exceeded

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience working within a Planner role - preferably in the infrastructure sector, however a construction background would suffice.
  • City and Guild NRSWA Coordination of Streetworks or equivalent
  • Possess a clear focus on high quality and control of costs
  • Competent in the use of systems, particularly bespoke applications/systems and MS Office applications
  • IOSH working safely desirable
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
