A building consultancy company is looking for a Principal Planner to join their multi-disciplinary team. They are proud in the service they provide and have in-house Architects, Surveyors, Technicians and Consultants.
Your new role
As a Principal Planner your primary focus will be to offer expert planning advice for a big range of projects such as residential, agricultural, public sector works, historic buildings and more.
On your day to day you will be dealing with planning related queries and offering comprehensive advice; supporting your colleagues in respect of project's requirements; facilitating the planning process by compiling applications and appeals for a broad range of projects; compiling and delivering Design & Access statements, Planning Assessments and Feasibility Studies; amongst other tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
For you to succeed in this role you will be RTPI accredited or on your way to becoming a chartered town planner. You will also have experience with a similar role, although some training can be provided.
A professional manner and confidence in providing planning expertise to clients are key for the role, not to mention good communication skills.
Experience with the UK Planning regulations is key.
