Site Engineer required for large Highways scheme nr Blackpool, Lancashire

A large National Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Contractor are looking to recruit a Site Engineer to join their team on site based out of Blackpool

Your new role
Working on a large Civil Engineering scheme, you'll be joining a team of Site Engineers working on a prestigious Highways project in Lancs

Your role will include:

• Responsible for settingout works constructed within set tolerances
• Responsible for providing and maintaining settingout and dimensional control, to ensure accuracy
• Supporting the site operatives with settingout information for construction
• Assisting in managing systems to record the quality of work completed, testing of workmanship and materials
• Provides engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered
• Assist in the preparation of As-built drawings

What you'll need to succeed

• You'll ideally have a HNC / Degree or equivalent
• Experience in Structures, Drainage & Earthworks
• Proficient in using Settingout equipment, such as Robotic TS and GPS
• Competent in using cable avoidance tools
• Practical working knowledge using AutoCAD
