Hays Construction & Property is supporting an established, respected contractor delivering bespoke high-end homes of up to £3m in value across Devon and Somerset in sourcing an experienced Site Manager with a passion for quality. Your new role
Reporting to the company's operations director, you'll initially be taking the lead on the construction of an individual, architecturally designed residential refurbishment and extension in the Taunton area of £1m value. Your duties will include attendance and input at project meetings, assisting in the production of the detailed construction phase programme ahead of commencement on site, managing the project in accordance with Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans, Construction and Traffic Management Plans and ensuring project is delivered to budgetary, timescale and quality expectations.

What you'll need to succeed
You should be a self-starter with the ability both to see the overall scheme as as well as to focus on the smallest elements of quality finishing on all aspects of the development. The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely to both professionals and laypersons is also essential and a proven track record in delivering similar high-end schemes would be favourable.
