Your new company
We're working with a leading firm of surveyors who are looking to recruit two registered Valuers across Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. You'll be joining a company who work with a range of landlords and tenants, businesses and financial institutions across the East of England. The role in Norfolk could be purely focused on valuations, although there is the opportunity to set up an office and build your own team.
Your new role
As a Registered Valuer your primary focus will be to provide valuations for a variety of purposes, though primarily bank secured loans across the commercial and residential sectors. You'll be joining an experienced and well established team with 5 fee earners across the East of England and the ambitions to grow this further. You'll also be completing corporate, loan security, public sector and Institutional Valuations. There is also an opportunity to get involved with landlord and tenant work so if you'd like more variation in the role this is something the company could also offer should you wish.
What you'll need to succeed
You will most likely be a Chartered Surveyor (RICS) and a registered valuer with 2-3 years post qualified experience. You'll be IT literate and will ideally have experience of using valuation software like Argus. You'll be driven, passionate about property and whilst you'll have the support network across the region, you'll be able to work work autonomous on a caseload of work. Due to the nature of the work, you'll need to have a full driving license and the ability to travel across the region.
