Building Control Manager

6 month contract for a building control section manager working in Manchester.

Your new company
This is a public sector organisation with a range of properties, including schools, heritage buildings and residential properties. They work on both minor and major schemes, new built and refurbishment projects.

Your new role
In this role you will be looking after the building regulation aspect of a range of existing buildings, ranging from new buildings to dilapidated properties to sports grounds. You will take a lead in making sure that all buildings have the right certificates and are compliant with the current legislation.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have managerial experience leading a busy building control team, significant experience and qualified (Building Surveyor) and member of appropriate professional body such as MRICS.

What you'll get in return
In return your contract may be extended beyond the 6 months. You will receive a competitive hourly rate of £40 - £50 per hour and generous annual leave after initial 12 weeks. This organisation also offers hybrid working environment.
