This is your opportunity to help shape Old Oak and Park Royal, the only place where High Speed Two, the Elizabeth Line and Great Western will all connect into one of the largest and best-connected regeneration projects in the UK

Identified as a top priority for the mayor, OPDC is looking to appoint several talented and delivery-focussed professionals as part its ambitious growth plans.

The Development Team leads the strategic regeneration programme that is assembling and driving the delivery of up to 25,000 new homes and new employment space for 56,000 new jobs. Working across both Old Oak Common and Park Royal, we need experienced and energetic team members to help turn our plans into practice. 

What we’re looking for

This is a unique opening for individuals with an interest in working across commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure development.  As part of a close-knit team, and working closely with colleagues in government, the GLA, our three host boroughs and local businesses, you will be responsible for projects that could include meanwhile uses and activation; land and property acquisition and the formulation and delivery of major development projects.

You will have experience of development, regeneration and infrastructure projects, preferably in a complex stakeholder environment, as well as relevant project management skills. Ideal candidates will be confident communicators, excellent relationship managers and share our commitment and enthusiasm for regeneration. 

Based in our superb new office in Brent Civic Centre, Wembley, you will need strong organisational skills and personal resilience to thrive in a busy and demanding environment but for the right candidates these roles offer excellent opportunities for personal and career development.  

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will support the scoping, delivery and programme management of a range of public realm, development and infrastructure projects within the OPDC area; working across the Corporation and with internal and external stakeholders and consultancy teams. Your experience will have been gained within a development or infrastructure environment with a strong focus on contract management, budgetary control and delivery.
