Your new company
Your new company is a well known Manchester based civil & structural engineering consultancy. They have a good presence in the North Wrest and are well known for providing good quality work.They operate across a number of civil engineering areas, providing infrastructure, structural and geo technical design. The team has a really good culture, with a nice Manchester office. Everyone really gets on and there is a good team feel. Home working will continue, with flexibility for staff being key.

In terms of project types, you will be working on a range of highways and drainage schemes, supporting clients with the residential, commercial and industrial sectors

Your new role
In your new role you will work closely with the current civil engineering director, running projects and actively contributing to technical delivery of work. You will be involved in both drainage and highways design, using software such as Civil 3D and Micro Drainage. This role will come with the opportunity to manage graduates and technicians, for the right type of engineer. You will be working on some large scale residential schemes, with a number of exciting upcoming projects in the pipeline.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to come from a strong civil engineering background, and ideally have a minimum of 6/7 years experience working in a design role. You will need to have worked on both drainage and highways design in the past and have experience using software such as PDS, Micro Drainage, Civil 3D or Site 3D. You will also need a confident job runner, with the ability project manage highways/drainage schemes. Team management will be a part of this role, so some exposure to that would also be desirable.
