Property Manager (Facilities and Asset Manager) | Cambridge | Up to £50,000

We are delighted to be working with one of the largest and most respected property consultancies in the UK with a network of over 30 offices. Their long-standing client relationships range from private landowners, local authorities, pension funds and farmers. Due to growth in their Property and Asset Management Team they are looking to hire a driven and enthusiastic Facilities Manager or Senior Surveyor in the Cambridge office.

Your new role
As the new Property Manager you will have the desire to build client relation and manage an existing portfolio to deliver the required client service. Your property portfolio will consist of a range of clients including local authorities and private clients, across Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for procuring and managing third party service contracts for the Client managed portfolios, assisting with help-desk queries, inspecting properties and preparing annual condition reports. In addition to this you will liaise with tenants, respond to their queries, coordinate planned maintenance and major works and set the service charge budgets.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have at least two years post qualification experience, although MRICS not essential, with facilities management and/or property & asset management experience. Ideally you will be well versed in Health & Safety and will have the ability to demonstrate strong client relationships and management of tenants and contractors. As an experienced professional, you will be expected to help grow the team and business by developing new and existing client relationships. Travel will be required and therefore a full clean driving licence is required.
