Permanent Estimator role, East Midlands, National Main Contractor, Multi Sector, Highly competitive + package

Your new company
Due to increased demand and work national Main contractor based in the Midlands are seeking an Estimator to join their pre-construction team on a permanent basis. The role will be working on a range of project sectors including Education, Health, Heritage, Defence, Custodial, Commercial and Industrial. The role will see you working within a thriving team currently targeting £150m turnover in the next year.


Your new role
You will be working on both one and two stage tender processes on projects ranging from £15m - £100m. You will prepare and win new tenders for the business. This will require you to manage robust and long-term relationships with clients and internal teams in line with the general strategy. You will need to assist as well as manage the production of tender documents, attend pre-tender and post tender interviews and provide data as requested

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in the role you will have experience of working in design and build projects in the aforementioned sectors. You will have a clear history of strong tender performance and cost planning. Ideally you will also hold a degree qualification in a relevant discipline. This role may also suit a candidate that has been performing a similar role for a construction sub contractor but is now keen to move into main contracting.
