Permanent Assistant Site Manager / Site Manager job, Nottingham Main Contractor, Multi Sector

Your new company
You will be working for an established Nottinghamshire based main contractor who operate across the UK in multiple sectors including; Healthcare, Education and MOD/ MOJ works. Due to continued market success they are seeking a permanent Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager to join their operational team.

Your new role
You will be reporting directly into a roaming Contracts Manager and ultimately the Construction director. You will be the onsite presence ensuring that the job is meeting deadlines and quality assurance. Due to the nature of works you will be working on a range of projects and this will will involve dealing with clients and specialist sub contractors. You will be responsible for keeping accurate site reports, ensuring health and safety on site is at the highest of standards. You will be delivering tool box talks and inductions. You will be ultimately responsible for overseeing site staff to successful completion of the job and handover.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will have CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid qualifications. You will also hold a full UK driving license and be willing to lodge away if project requires. You will also have a strong permanent background of working for main contractors demonstrating longevity throughout your career.

What you'll get in return
You will be working for an established main contractor with an excellent market reputation. The role will come with a salary of between £35k and £40k dependant on previous experience level. A full package including holiday entitlement and car/ car allowance will also be included.
