This is an exciting opportunity to join the Estates team at a leading university across their three campuses. This role reports into the Director of Estates, and sits in the wider estates and facilities management team.

Your new role

This role is accountable for the accountable for the engineering, maintenance, and infrastructure teams and for managing the estate property portfolio across all campuses and all associated development across the campuses and across the region. This role will also be responsible for the development, documentation and updating of long-term maintenance strategies. You will lead a team of internal maintenance teams, external maintenance contractors and building relationships with internal stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need an excellent understand of Asset management, construction, procurement, project management and health and safety. You will need a confident grasp of the financial management of capital and asset management works. You will also need to be a confident leader and line manager and you will have a number of direct reports sitting in building surveying, fire, risk and compliance. RICs membership, NEBOSH or a formal qualification in Asset Management whilst not essential would be a distinct advantage.
