A contracts manager job paying £60k + for a civils / groundwork contractor.

Your new company
You will join a regional main contractor who operate across the North West and Yorkshire region. They have various arms to their business including new build, housing and much more. Their head office is based in Lancashire and they focus on projects up to £15m. The business has developed and grown over the of years and they hold an excellent reputation within the industry. Due to workload and company expansion, they are recruiting an additional contracts manager to join their civils and land reclamation team.

Your new role
You will report to the operations director and will oversee a selection of schemes at any one time. Your initial schemes will be based in Yorkshire therefore you will be located between Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford or Huddersfield to ensure an easier commute to the projects. You will manage a range of projects which will involve new highways, cycle way schemes, park restoration, soft landscaping, children's play areas, car parks and much more. Regular site visits will be required. Their projects within this division range up to £6m with most of their work within the public sector, ensuring stable government backed schemes. Their schemes mainly operate under - NEC3, NEC4 and JCT contracts. The site teams will report to you direct and you will ensure the smooth running of sites and ensure clients expectations are met.

What you'll need to succeed
You will currently be working as a contract manager, managing several projects. You will have a strong background within civils, groundwork & land rec and you will be looking to take on a new challenge. You will have strong leadership skills. Relevant qualifications will be fully up to date including SMSTS, CSCS and 1st Aid.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 + car package + excellent benefit scheme (negotiable dependant on experience). You will receive support from the operations team and the opportunity to develop your career further with an established and sought after business.
