Permanent Estimator job Nottingham, Main Contractor, Multi Sector works, Competitive salary + package

Your new company
Hays have partnered with a main contractor who are seeking an Estimator out of their Nottinghamshire office. The organisation are a privately owned company that have works in a range of sectors including Commercial, Mixed Use, Retail, Distribution, Healthcare and Accommodation. The company have a strong pipeline of work already secured however due to the volume of enquires they are now seeking a permanent Estimator to join their commercial team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
The role will be initially working alongside a Senior Estimator overseeing projects from enquiry stage through to tender submission and successfully securing work for the business. You will be liaising with clients to ensure that the correct elements of the projects are priced against the design. You will be involved with confirming the price of materials, equipment and labour costs and as such obtaining / negotiating quotes from sub contractors and suppliers. A key part of the role is preparing and submitting quotations for work.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will have around 5 years of Estimating experience for either a regional main contractor or tier 1 construction contractor. You will be motivated and commercially aware and able to make judgements relating to cost and budget information. You will have a full UK driving license and be within commuting distance of North Nottinghamshire
