A quantity surveyor job in Preston paying £45k + package for a housing developer covering a maternity leave
Your new company
You will join an established new build housing developer based close to Preston who are making the appointment of a quantity surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a 9-12 month maternity cover contract. You will join an experienced and stable commercial team who focus on delivering high quality schemes across the North West. They build 300+ units per year and have an impressive land bank.
Your new role
This is a contract role covering maternity leave for one of their existing surveyors. The contract will run between 9-12 months (exact dates TBC before starting the contract). You will join the business in January 2022 and you will have an extensive handover period before taking over on the existing sites. You will report to their commercial manager and you will be office based. You will spend some time on site when required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will currently be working as a quantity surveyor and have experience working for a new build housing developer. You will be available to join the business in January and cover a maternity post for up to 12 months. You will be confident running your own schemes.
