Senior QS

A quantity surveyor job in Lancashire paying £55k + for a groundwork contractor.

Your new company
You will join a small groundworks contractor who operate nationally. Their head office is based in East Lancashire and they focus on projects up to £1m. The business has developed and grown over the last couple of years and due to workload and company expansion they are recruiting a QS to work alongside their MD. Once embedded within the company a directorship will be available in the future.

Your new role
You will report to the MD and will be responsible for delivering their projects from tender to final account. You will be based from their head office with regular site visits when required. Their sites are based across the UK therefore travel will be part of the role. You will manage a selection of schemes at any time up to the value of £1m.

What you'll need to succeed
You will currently be working as a QS / Senior QS within a groundwork / civils environment. You will have experience managing several projects and have confidence in running all jobs independently. You will have a stable career background and are looking to develop your career. You will have the opportunity to move into a directorship and work with the MD to grow the business. Their ambition is to grow over the next 2-3-4 years and target larger schemes. This will lead to opportunities for individual growth / enhancement.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 + car package (negotiable dependant on experience). You will receive support from the MD and the opportunity for a directorship is available for the right person.
