Building Surveyor

Building Surveyor position for a public sector organisation on an interim basis

Working for a Housing Association, in conjunction with a local authority in Essex.

Your new role
You will be working as a Building Surveyor in a varied role. You will supervise and organise the Capital Works Improvement Programme under the direction of the Project manager; provide technical advice and inspection of responsive repairs, revenue contracts, cyclical contracts as well as various other contracts from feasibility to final accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need at least an OND/ONC in construction or a maintenance related subject, with at least three years working in this sector. Good knowledge of Section 11 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985, in relation to Disrepair claims and pre actions protocols.

What you'll get in return
A competitive rate of pay, approximately £25-£30 per hour. Working from home, and attending site visits and meetings when necessary.
