They are an industry leading development business which offer a range of large projects at all stages of construction. Your new role
As a Design Manager, you will be principally responsible for the management and leadership of projects from a pre-qualification stage through to completion. The role will include but not be limited to:
* Producing, managing and negotiating the project specific designer agreements scope of works, design management plan, contractor proposals, design programme and information required schedule
* Supervising and detailing any Health and Safety issues and mitigating any potential issues prior and throughout construction
* Provide input into the design team PDR's
* Ensuring that there is continuous improvement and innovation

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced design manager with a history working on projects in the construction industry, across a range of sectors with values in excess of £20m. You should be able to demonstrate experience managing teams under HSE legislations, and the ability to demonstrate knowledge of planning techniques, procurement and management systems, risk management, life cycle cost and value creation. Alongside this you will be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate and engaging personality.
