As a Housing Programmes Officer you will be operating on behalf of the client in regards to planned maintenance on current housing stock. This role offers an immediate start, ongoing contract and fairly fixed working hours.


Your new role

In your new role you will be assisting the housing team to develop a strategic approach with regards to the planned repairs and maintenance of the housing stock. Your new role will involve carrying out inspections of properties to establish what work needs carried out. You will also be tasked with preparing information, including specifications and briefs for consultants and contractors
You will be expected to monitor the progress and quality of work and produce monitoring reports and also provide technical advice when required.
You will be expected to liaise with contractors, consultants and tenants.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have a proven track record in working on planned maintenance in a supervisory or trade capacity. You must hold relevant industry qualifications such as an HNC in a construction related discipline and ample experience in the construction sector.
In addition to your core technical skills, you must have strong IT skills and be able to liaise with a range of stakeholders including contractors, tenants and the wider project delivery team.
