Senior Site manager - External Refurbishment

External refurb/Cladding replacement contract - East London, Main contractor, 12 month programme, £competitive

Your new company
A well established Main contractor specialising in Local authority refurbishment schemes across Central and South London. Projects are typically internal and external refurbishments of occupied/live apartment schemes, contracts valued between £5 - 10 mill spread over several years. Due to several key project wins in the replacement cladding sector they now seek an experienced senior Sm/PM to lead a new project in the East London area - The project involves the removal and replacement of cladding across a residential estate, The scheme is due on site imminently and programmed to run for 12 months initially with further works on the same site already priced.

Your new role
As senior site manager you will be number 1 on site reporting to a visiting contracts manager. Due to the nature of the contract and the robust programming needed an organised, methodical and calm manager is needed to ensure logistically that the relevant trades have been sequenced correctly and are sticking to the timescales and order. You will oversee health and safety, quality control, client and customer liaison (with the help of an RLO) and support the subbies where needed. You will have the support of a QS, Supervisor, RLO and visiting CM.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Site manager with a background in Decent homes refurbishment schemes (internal or external) be used to working on tightly programmed, KPI led schemes and be comfortable working on occupied properties.
