Your new company

As a Clerk of Works you will be operating on the client side in regards to planned and reactive maintenance on domestic properties. This role offers an immediate start, ongoing contract, with fairly fixed hours.


Your new role

In your new role as Clerk of Works you will be carrying heating inspections and surveys within domestic properties to establish what work needs carried out. You will then get approval for works to be carried out, ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with agreed objectives and standards.
Your new role will involve regular and timely inspection of works and quality, recording quality and specification issues and reporting these back.
You will work largely independently to ensure that works taking place are to a high standard and meet design specifications. It will be your responsibility to inspect all works once completed and report back to the contract administrator.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll need to have a proven track record in working with heating systems either in a trade or supervisory capacity. You should have relevant industry qualifications and have a proven track record within the construction industry.
In addition to your core technical skills, you must have strong IT skills and be able to liaise with a range of stakeholders including contractors, tenants and the wider project delivery team.
