A large Housing Association have an immediate need for a Responsive Repair Surveyor


Your new role


To manage the quality and effectiveness of responsive maintenance across Lincolnshire and Rutland and Melton area, ensuring they meet customers reasonable expectations, statutory and regulatory obligations and maximise planned investment where possible. Provide technical advice on complex repairs issues and escalations


* Manage and monitor contractors, ensuring works are delivered safely and to standard and continually improve customer satisfaction and VFM
* Ensure that pre and post inspections are carried out in accordance with agreed frequency to make sure quality standards are being delivered
* Ensure all repairs works are carried out within target times and commitments to residents and agree the value of disputed works
* Ensure Disrepair and HH Act claims are dealt within prescribed timescales to minimise financial exposure and resolve issues promptly for the customer
* Investigate and respond to customer complaints, confirm root cause and put in place corrective action to prevent repeat failures
* Ensure residents are fully consulted about performance, service specifications and service improvements.
* To provide technical advice and support to internal and external customers on a wide range of construction, maintenance and repairs issues

About you
You will be a experienced Housing Surveyor within either a local authority or Housing association environment.
