Your new company
As an Assistant Compliance Officer you will be assisting with the managing of the electrical testing and inspection contract on behalf of the client and make a critical contribution to the operation and management of the property compliance function. This role offers and immediate start with an ongoing contract with fixed working hours
Your new role
In your new role as an Assistant Electrical Compliance Officer you will be providing professional advice on all property compliance issues including electrical testing and inspection, emergency lighting, fire detection and alarm systems and lighting protection. You will ensure that up to date statutory legislation, codes of practice and HSE guidance are kept up to date and applied to all properties within the portfolio. You will also be tasked with ensuring property compliance audits and assessments, for the property portfolio, are carried out and recommend any improvements/ good practice procedures. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the property asset register. Managing the electrical testing and inspection contract will also come under your remit and you will be tasked with ensuring that it is delivered in accordance with agreed specification and procedures. You will represent the property team as required with other teams, outside bodies and community representatives.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to have a proven track record in working on electrical inspection and testing contracts. You must hold relevant industry qualifications and have a proven track record within a compliance background. In addition to your core technical skills, you must have strong IT skills and be able to liaise with a range of stakeholders including contractors, tenants, and the wider project delivery team. You must hold a full UK Driving license due to travel involved.
