Site Manager - Tier 1 Builder

Tier 1 Builder requires Site Manager to deliver high profile complex refurbishment in Edinburgh

Your new company
Our client are a national tier 1 contractor with a long history of project delivery in their key sectors such as education , commercial and public infrastructure.They are currently seeking a site manager for an interesting complex project which is just commencing in Edinburgh. This project encompasses heritage refurbishment of an existing building and associated public streetscapes.

Your new role
As site manager , reporting to an experienced Project Manager , you will be responsible for organising and supervising all works onsite ensuring they are conducted in a safe and effective manner. You will work with your core subcontractors and stakeholders to drive the project to a successful completion.


What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be an experienced construction site manager with an in date SMSTS and First aid course and ideally a temporary works qualification. You will have good all round construction experience along with a strong interest in heritage refurbishment. This project is in a busy urban environment and will require some element of interaction with the public so a professional approach is essential. This role has the potential to go until June 2022 and will offer the successful candidate to establish a profile with a leading builder and perhaps generate more work for themselves.
