Freelance Site Manager Major New build School in Shrewsbury Main Contractor

Your new company
Our client is a National Major Main Contractor, working on a major new build school project in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
This is a 2 year project, consisting of 2 phases.
Phase 1 consists of the build phase, immediately followed by phase 2 which consists of demolition to the existing school and install of new sports pitches.

Your new role
You will be the Site Manager, reporting to the on site Project Manager.
This a major construction site - hence experience of similar projects is essential.
You will have responsibility to manager a foreman further into the project.
As the stand alone site manager, you will be responsible for the H&S plans, management of sub contractors, and the programme of works.


What you'll need to succeed
A strong main contracting background, ideally from a tier 1 contractor.
Project experience of £10 Million+ Ideally in the education sector
You will be local to the Shrewsbury area.
SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS essential


What you'll get in return

Option to be paid CIS , Ltd Company or PAYE.
Outside IR35
This role starts at the end of November and will last for 2 years
