Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor
Your new company
One of the North West regions oldest contractors are looking for an Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team, working from offices based in Merseyside. The contractor deliver maintenance and refurbishment works on behalf of social housing clients, one of the largest amongst this sector in the UK. Works include painting and decorating, roofing, windows and doors, fencing and landscaping works. They have longstanding client relationships and places on various frameworks, with guaranteed pipelines of work for years to come.
Your new role
You will work closely with and report to the Commercial Manager. You will oversee various building maintenance, external works, and painting and decorating contracts, most of which are all run under a schedule of rates. You will take responsibility for liaising with clients from initial enquiries through to final accounts, cost control and management projects. You will be responsible for procuring sub-contracts and agreeing final accounts. You will be expected to carry out site surveys, and will prepare cost reports and cash flow forecasts as well as other duties assigned by the Commercial Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
You are working at Intermediate or Senior level, and at least five years Quantity Surveying experience. Knowledge of schedule of rates works is ideal for this role, and having worked with a social housing client base will also put you at an advantage for this position.
