Your new company
A leading regional contractor are looking for a Contracts Manager to deliver sites of new build social housing and apartments in partnership with various Housing Associations. Sites are fairly small and project values vary from £1-5m. This is a well set up, established business with a secured pipeline of work, with various partnerships and frameworks which makes them very secure in any financial climate. They have an excellent senior management team, staff turnover is very low in comparison to their competitors.
Your new role
You will oversee 3-4 fairly small new build social housing and apartment schemes, which are delivered in partnership with Housing Associations. You will ensure each project in your remit is delivered on time and in budget, working closely to manage the client, work with their clerk of works, and ensure client satisfaction is maintained throughout the build and handover. You will support Site Managers to ensure highest standards of health and safety are maintained, and will report on a weekly basis into their Construction Director.
What you'll need to succeed
You have good experience delivering sites of new build social housing and apartments, have worked with Housing Association clients before and understand the hands on requirements of working for a regional contractor. This business are not a volume house builder, and instead deliver projects ranging in value from £1-5m, and so you will have ideally some track record delivering on sites of this size.
What you'll get in return
An excellent basic salary of up to £65k, plus car/allowance. Pension is excellent along with annual leave allowance and some opportunity to work a day from home.
