HAYS are working in partnership with INTO University Partnerships who are seeking a Facilities Manager

Your new company
HAYS are working in partnership with INTO University Partnerships who are seeking a Facilities Manager to join their senior leadership team on a permanent basis. INTO are an organisation working in partnership with a range of leading British Universities, investing in the continuous development of world-class international student centres. You will be based on-site at the University of Exeter, overseeing an FM operation across varied operational buildings on campus at the university.

Your new role
You will take ownership of a day-to-day facilities operation focusing specifically on INTO academic buildings and halls of residence as well as several other leased properties. You will ensure that these properties are presented and maintained in an appropriate and pleasing manner, which ultimately enhances the INTO student experience. You will manage the facilities to the highest possible standard, achieving continuous improvement and a high level of customer satisfaction. This will involve overseeing design, planning and project management of site refurbishments, overseeing property compliance matters, site services matters, and oversee the work of contractors across several facets, ensuring their performance is in line with the standards required.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need to have an excellent and demonstrable track-record across all aspects of facilities management, including health & safety, financial management, staff management and communicating within a complex stakeholder environment. You should be a member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (BIFM), and will need to be able to achieve an Enhanced DBS disclosure.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £45,000 dependent on previous experience, skill set, qualifications, and professional memberships. Further to this you'll receive 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, opportunity to take 2 volunteering days per year, access to a contributory pension scheme at 4.5% and access to a wide range of on-campus facilities, including gym access.
