Maintenance Programme Manager
The Maintenance Programme Manager is a senior role within the Estates Maintenance team with responsibility for leading a small team of Project Managers to develop and deliver a 5 Year Planned Maintenance Strategy and Programme. Your extensive and well developed project management skills will ensure the smooth delivery of refurbishment and minor improvement projects across the University estate to specification, budget and on time within a safety conscious and multi-stakeholder environment.
You will have:
- Experience of managing building/engineering projects in a complex environment
- Proven project management and contract administration skills ie JCT, NEC
- Experience of managing others to deliver projects
- The ability to make systematic and rational judgments based on relevant information.
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to influence and gain the trust of stakeholders
- A positive and proactive approach to managing Health & Safety and for promoting its importance on all projects.
- An appropriate Building Construction or Building Surveying degree or Higher National Certificate or Diploma
