Senior Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor)

Senior QS role available with South-West based main contractor

Your new company
I'm currently sourcing a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a privately-owned national contractor who operate in the commercial, defence, energy and infrastructure sectors with a company-wide focus on a client-first attitude and adoption of sustainable building solutions.

Your new role
With support from the Regional Commercial Manager, you'll be taking responsibility for the commercial management of educational and municipal sector projects across Devon and Somerset of up to £10m in value, using both JCT and NEC forms of contract. You'll be involved at pre-construction stage identifying, interviewing and awarding subcontract packages, then at construction stage handle subcontract accounts, produce CVR's, make payment submissions and manage projects through to final account.

What you'll need to succeed
I'm keen to talk to you if you are current operating at Project QS or Senior QS level, have a solid track record working with main contractors, be highly commercially astute and be able to recognise opportunities for cost savings/further profit, as well as being a keen team player.
