Job Details

Your new company
I am excited to be supporting a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy. This organisation offers services varying from commercial and residential property services to agricultural and auction services across Norfolk. Due to growth in the business they are in the market for an ambitious Rural Surveyor to join their experienced team and take ownership of an exciting client portfolio. Run by the partners who are involved in the day to day, this forward-thinking consultancy will allow you the freedom to pave your own career all the way up to partnership and equity partnership.

Your new role
As the Rural Surveyor you will be involved in conducting valuations on both rural and residential property for secured lending, taxation, estate planning and dispute purposes. The client portfolio you will be responsible for varies from small hundred acre plots, up to plots exceeding thousands of acres. As well as your responsibilities you will be joining an organisation who actively encourage their surveyors to win agency instructions. As a member of the rural department you will not be shackled to existing work load and will be allowed the freedom to engage with your own clients and take on instruction that appeals to you.

What you'll need to succeed
As the Rural Surveyor you will need to be a personable individual, have good communication and people skills as you will be advising a variety of clients, working on behalf of owner occupiers, landlords and tenants. This position is for an ambitious individual with a strong rural background and a practical understanding of agriculture. Ideally you will be working towards FAAV qualification and be MRICS although I would be keen to speak to you even if you are not.

What you'll get in return
In return you will be joining one of the most prominent players in the regions property and agricultural sector, who serve a wide range of clients. As well as joining a well-established team of collaboratively working individuals, you will be part of a consultancy with progression at the forefront of their agenda. A competitive salary and structured route to partnership is on offer for the ambitious individual who takes on this exciting challenge. You will have access to a variety of benefits and this organisation loves a social gathering! They also regularly hold multiple team building days out such as Go-Karting and canoeing.
