Interim Procurement Business Partner | Up to £550pd | Strategic Delivery


Your new role

As a Procurement Business Partner your role will be to help embed a revised and refreshed procurement strategy across the business, promote best practice and compliance in line with the organisation's values and to support the Director taking overall responsibility for the delivery of effective and value-added procurement activity.

You will provide strategic advice and support to the Head of Procurement and manage a broad range of projects supporting RWM's mission to deliver a Geological Disposal Facility (GDF). The work will span everything from major ground investigation and construction enabling services to the delivery of corporate service contracts. As part of RWM's Commercial team you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the shaping of a new function

What you'll need to succeed

• A good technical knowledge of large scale Construction or Infrastructure
• Good strategic procurement knowledge and experience.
• Ability to work as a team player
• Excellent negotiation skills with some understanding of NEC form of contract
• Ability to negotiate at the highest levels with suppliers
• Experience of public sector procurement and knowledge of OJEU
