Contracts Manager (Door & Window Installations) - SW Region

Leading national building product manufacturer requires regional contracts manager for the South-West.

Your new company
I'm actively seeking a new regional contracts manager for a national manufacturer of quality doors and windows to coordinate and deliver projects across the South-West of England. Established for over 30 years, this is a very secure employer, being part of a wider £250m group. Its goal is to produce extremely high quality products that require minimal maintenance whilst using innovative technologies and maximising sustainability and recycling.

Your new role
Reporting to the directors, the role involves the effective control of both supply only and supply & fit contracts for doors and windows to housing associations, private developers and main contractors, specifically:

• Taking pre-start meetings with customers to understand the timelines and contract requirements
• Managing sub-contractors within your region
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site, and appointed installers
• Ensuring all projects meet agreed technical standards
• Compiling RAMS and Construction Phase Plans
• Having responsibility for audits and inspections of fire doors

What you'll need to succeed
The key attributes that the company is looking for are experience of both social and new build housing sectors, an understanding of relevant window & door legislation and a proven track record in project management.Ideally you'll also hold current CSCS, First aid at work, asbestos awareness, SMSTS qualifications. You should also have a good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations and design management.

Strong leadership, excellent communication, an expectation of high standards and a results-driven mentality are all necessary to fulfill this challenging and varied role.
