Assistant Facilities Manager - Maintenance, managing team of site operative

This is working in a Prison environment and subject to a DBS and full prison vetting


Your new role
Supporting the on site Facilities Manager, you will be his supporting Assistant FM, directly managing the operatives /supervisors on a daily basis, reviewing and planning their workload . These team of trades people, delivering on a range of maintenance projects to fulfill contract obligations. These will be day to day reactive repair works.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be from a Facilities Management background and have experience of overseeing a team of supervisors and /or trades operatives/engineers. You will be used to working on reactive maintenance and repair It is essential that you have a good grasp of maintenance and FM issues for Building Fabric and M&E.
A strong understanding of contractual compliance in a FM capacity would be excellent.

What you'll get in return
This is a 7 day a week shift pattern and offers generous weekend and bank holiday overtime rates. You will likely work 1 weekend in 3.
This role is subject to full prison vetting clearance.

This role is inside IR35 and so PAYE or Umbrella pay options
