Site Manager - Tier 1 Contractor

3 Month Contract for Site Manager on large project in Glasgow. Working for tier 1 contractor.

Your new company
Our client are a national tier 1 contractor who have extensive interests across core construction sectors. Their Scottish business is going from strength to strength and they have a current requirement for a site manager on one of their flagship projects.


Your new role
As Site Manager on this project , reporting to a Senior Site Manager , you will be responsible for a series of external works packages such as roads , kerbing and street lighting. You will be directly responsible for managing the subcontractors for this package which are all competent and well respected. From ensuring they are conducting the works in line with design and plans to keeping them in line from a WHS perspective you will be key conduit in ensuring our client hits the planned programme finish date.


What you'll need to succeed
Our client are a tier 1 builder so they require a candidate with high expectations in terms of safety ,quality and professionalism. Experience of supervising and delivering external works packages is essential along with up to date SMSTS and first aid course.


What you'll get in return
Our client pay competitive hourly rates and this role is for an initial 12 week contract which will take you to the middle of February. With a busy pipeline of work ahead of them this has the potential to lead to further work down the track.
