Permanent Groundworks Supervisor, Nottingham, Main Contractor, Family Owned - Up to £45k + Van

Your new company
You will be working for the residential new build arm of a contractor based in Nottinghamshire. The company have a strong regional presence and have increased the amount of units per site over the last 2/3 years. The company are a medium sized family owned contractor and are seeking a permanent Supervisor to join the organisation working on residential groundworks.

Your new role
The role will involve going onto site and liaising with the Contracts Manager and other key Operational figures. The types of work will include block and beaming, drainage, roads and sewers. You will need to manage the preparation of RAMS and other project document, create and manage programmes to ensure timely and profitable completion of contracts and manage health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements, ensuring processes and procedures are in place. You will ensure correct permits and licences are in place, Supervise and oversee projects on various sites simultaneously, ensuring that the client's specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress, and liaising with management. The role will require you to produce and monitor resource programmes, programmes of works, site diaries and variations. You will need to check and prepare site reports, designs and drawings. in addition you will be required to Coordinate site logistic and provide advice on methods, tools, equipment and materials to management and project managers


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will have a strong understanding of contracts and residential groundwork's experience. You will hold CSCS Black Card or CSCS Gold Card, SMSTS, Supervisor NRSWA and HNC/HND in civil engineering or similar (essential)
