Estates Surveyor

Macdonald & Company are working with a food retailer who are looking to expand their team, with the addition of an Estates Surveyor. Working with the Estate Manager you will get involved with a broad range of professional duties in order to maximise the return on the property portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Commercial experience to take the next step in their career, working with a leading organisation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

- Manage the societies property estate and maximise returns
- Assist in marketing and letting of non-trading properties, including instructing agents and solicitors, negotiating disposal terms and legal negotiations
- Manage rent reviews
- Negotiate lease renewals and surrenders
- Negotiate dilapidation claims and repair schedules
- Deal with a wide range of Landlord & Tenant matters, along with day to day Property Management enquiries/matters
- Manage rental performance

Experience & Knowledge:

- Ideally MRICS Qualified with at least 1 years PQE
- Experience of landlord and tenant issues
- Have the ability to manage a mixed portfolio of commercial assets
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
