Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

3 month temporary contract with a potential for extension working with a consultancy in Manchester.

Your new company
This is a building services consultancy based in central Manchester. They have been establish for over 10 years and are so busy that they are now looking for additional engineers to join their team of 20 in Manchester.
This role will be predominantly looking at commercial refurbishment project but there may be some residential work involved.

Your new role
In this role you will be client facing and working fairly autonomously on mechanical designs. You will be involved from the initial enquiry all the way through specification writing, concept and detail design.
Your attitude to work and career progression is very important as such you will be an enthusiastic individual with excellent attention to detail.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be degree qualified in building services or equivalent with post graduate experience working in building services design environment.
You will have experience in a client facing role and will be a confident user of AutoCAD, Revit MEP and any other relevant software.

What you'll get in return
In return you will be paid a competitive hourly rate (PAYE/ Umbrella) with potential of your contract being extended.
