Snr / Principal Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services - Nottingham £45-60k

Your new company
A Nottingham based Building Services organisation are looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. They offer expert mechanical & electrical design solutions to a wide range of clients covering the commercial, residential, leisure, and industrial sectors.

Your new role
Your role will be a mixture of site and office-based work involving attendance of client meetings working on a range of Electrical install / refurbishment design projects. You will carry out site surveys, detailed design work and feasibility report writing, preparing mechanical designs, schematics and reports, undertaking site surveys and detailed calculations, liaising directly with clients and contractors and attending project and design team meetings (office and site).

What you'll need to succeed

• HNC/HND/BEng in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years' design experience in consultancy or contracting.
• Understanding of IET wiring regulations 18th Edition
• Experience using; AutoCAD, Amtech, Relux/Dialux software

What you'll get in return
