Tree officer/ Aboriculturalist

Tree Officer to work in busy Local Authority planning dept



Working within the development control and planning teams in a large Busy Local Authority.

You will be given your own caseload and be able to prioritise and work under your own supervision.
The Local Authority are paperless and are efficient in dealing with their conservation and planning concerns.



What you'll need to succeed
You will be experinced in local authority work / or have worked for a consultancy offering expert aboricultural advice on Tree Preservation orders and such like. You will have a industry recognised qualifications such as

 LANTRA Professional Tree Inspectors Qualification
 National Certificate in Horticulture- Arboriculture option.
 City and Guilds Amenity Horticulture to supervisory level

Or similar.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available. This is 3 days a week to suit yourself but based at the office in Northants.
Day rate. Contract for minimum of 6 months
