Permanent Contracts Manager role, Civils / Groundworks, Family run contractor, Midlands sites £Negotiable
Your new company
You will be working for an established privately owned contractor that have continued to grow throughout the last year. The organisation turnover near £18m and have works across a range of sectors including Residential Groundworks, Commercial Groundworks and Public Realm Civils. The company are now searching for a Contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
You will be working on sites across Derbyshire and Staffordshire. The sites will involve foundations, drainage, kerbing, plot groundworks, section 278 works amongst others. As Contracts Manager you will be overseeing the progress of the jobs and assisting the site managers with making sure the project runs smoothly. You will also ensure that the company are performing in line with the Contractual agreement of works and liaise with clients and key stakeholders. You will be a key point of contact for technical queries and be key in securing the necessary permits / paperwork for the project.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong Civils Engineering background across commercial and residential groundworks and general civils. You will hold a cscs card, smsts and health and safety qualifications. You will have a full UK driving license and be able to travel across Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
