Permanent Bid Manager role, Main Contractor, East Midlands, Multi Sector works, £85k + Package

You will be working for a large national main contractor that have offices across the UK. The organisation are now seeking a permanent Bid Manager to join their pre-construction team. You will be working out of the East Midlands region, with flexible working. You will be working on a range of commercial new build projects across Schools, Leisure, Residential, Student accommodation and MOJ.
Your new role
You will lead the bid team to ensure that clients are provided with properly constructed commercial submissions. You will be involved in heading up bid meetings and liaising with clients and internal teams. You will have management of the bid teams and ensure that the strategy is compliant with internal governance. You will offer a high quality insight and responses to the bid questions. You will engage in thorough understanding of the clients key drivers and research the client team. The schemes will range in value from £15m to £100m across Schools, Leisure, Residential, Student accommodation and MOJ.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive Construction experience and have a strong Bid Strategy background. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will be able demonstrate Project Management experience and risk analysis understanding. The role will also require you to hold a HNC or above in a construction related qualification.
What you'll get in return
