Senior Quantity Surveyor

Your new company
Our client are a leading national contractor who have operations across the country and internationally. Focusing very much on the high end refurbishment and complex fitout market they have strong market presence already in Scotland and are looking to grow it. To sustain this growth they are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to ttheir commercial team.


Your new role

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to expand their experience beyond simply delivering projects. Of course that will be a part of your role and you will be expected to have strong experience of project delivery for a main contractor within the Scottish market. Your initial project will be a complex refurbishment project in Edinburgh which has a build value of £15million. This project is due to start imminently and offers an experienced senior QS the opportunity to take a high profile project from commencement all the way through to handover.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a commercial expert and have deep experience of delivering successful building construction projects from a main contractor in your background. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator able to present professionally to a range of project stakeholders from clients to subcontractors and you are comfortable in challenging commercial environments.

Your career trajectory has encompassed working on complex refurbishments previously and can demonstrate the complete delivery of several successful projects in your background.
