Your new company
A major player in the property industry, whilst being privately owned and an independent business. This company is a multi-disciplinary property consultancy offering services in a number of sectors, though their biggest areas of focus are commercial, rural, residential and development. Their offices have recently been refurbished, which offers free parking, very modern offices, allowing employees to work from whichever desk they please. Remote, and flexible working has also been introduced, giving employees autonomy over their daily schedules.

Your new role
You will be joining the Consultancy & Valuation team in their Cambridge Head Office, where you will undertake valuation and consultancy work on a wide variety of property across the Eastern Region. The role will involve you providing strategic advice to corporate occupiers in both single properties and portfolios as well as undertaking development appraisals as part of valuing development sites. You will be inspecting properties and completing RICS Red Book valuations for all purposes including secured lending and accounts purposes, undertaking research of market evidence. You'll record time and expenses, raising invoices in a timely and accurate fashion. In conjunction with your line manager, you will be managing projects to ensure they meet the required fee budget and project programme. In addition, you will be maintaining relationships with the existing clients whilst seeking new clients, to assist with this you will keep accurate property records for the retained client property portfolios using the company systems.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you'll need to be MRICS qualified, or equivalent, and a RICS Registered Valuer. Knowledge of ARGUS Developer and KEL is preferred, though those without will still be considered. You'll be an ambitious surveyor with desire to succeed with attention to detail and the ability to work and develop as part of an energetic and enthusiastic team. Lastly, you'll need strong verbal & communication skills.
