Property Surveyor

We are delighted to be working with our client who have an extensive network of food & beverage outlets across the UK. They require a Property Surveyor to join their in-house team to work on a portfolio of properties located in a Southern geographical location.

You will be either a Graduate Building Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor or similar, looking for a varied role with the opportunity to gain your professional qualification so perhaps this maybe your first or second job or alternatively an experienced surveyor who has worked in the F&B, Retail or Hospitality sectors. 

Responsibilities will include:

- Working alongside the Estates and Operational teams to ensure that suitable strategies are in place to ensure compliance and repair obligations are dealt with swiftly and appropriately.
- Carry out Surveying duties such as dilapidations.
- Create proactive maintenance solutions to improve service and reduce cost.
- Using Industry trends and best practice to ensure all Capital Investment activity is appropriately positioned to deliver the most innovative design solutions to meet the dynamics of the local marketplace.
- Project management of a broad range of schemes with varying values. 
- Good communicator both written and spoken
- Ability to present clear ideas or facts
- Results driven and confident decision maker
- Ability to evaluate data, reach logical decisions and take action
- Thrives in an exciting and changing business environment
- A passion for excellent customer service
- Holds a qualification in building surveying or other relevant property related subject
- Qualified or studying towards either MRICS, CIOB or similar
